SO - WHY ARE THEY "SECONDS"? The print you receive may be misprinted or a Test print - there may be something a little off, but none of the prints on offer have significant errors or damage that would deter from them being visually enjoyed! They're just not perfect and so did not meet the standard for being included as part of the Limited Edition series. They might be slightly misaligned, the colour may be a shade or two off where it was supposed to be, there may be a small flaw in the print or paper. The size might be slighltly off, a little bigger or smaller than it should be, or cut a little off. The borders may be uneven or the image may not be scaled correctly. Some are perfectly fine but were printed on the wrong paper, or I was testing out new paper. Some are simple discontinued prints - perfectly fine just not part of the range I actively want to sell and create any more.
Prints might be signed, or may not be. They may have been numbered as part of an edition, or maybe not - they may have a note on the back eg "test, amend colour" or be completely blank on the back - again none of it detracts from the image (I wouldn't sell them at all if I didn't think they were still perfectly usable as a nice print!"

I'm an Irish artist living in Oxfordshire, working with vintage books and magazines, salvaged materials, old second hand frames etc as well as my own illustrations, photography and writing. My work is heavily influenced by music, vintage aesthetics, visuals and art from 1800s to art deco, mid-century to 1980's neon, and everything in-between and beyond with an extra focus on the themes of positivity, mental health, LGBTQAI+ and equality messaging (among lots of other things).
Please note some recycled packaging may be used in delivery, for a happier planet. I try to re-use as much packaging as possible. All prints are created on a professional grade printer with professional inks and should be treated with care when handling. Keep away from direct sunlight and sources of heat, moisture and humidity for best longevity. Always handle art prints by the edges with clean hands.
